At Diabetes Monitor, two of our goals are to provide you with informative content and useful tools. A third goal is to connect you to other diabetes-related resources and organizations. Here, you can find a list of diabetes links to international, national, state and local diabetes organizations, associations and programs.
Diabetes links
Government diabetes websites. There are numerous government programs and organizations focused on diabetes. From specialty care services offered by the Department of Veterans Affairs to the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK), there are numerous government programs and organizations focused on diabetes.
International diabetes organizations. Diabetes is a global epidemic with nearly 350 million people worldwide suffering from the disease. Most countries have launched diabetes prevention and awareness efforts, including the following on this list.
Nonprofit diabetes organizations. In addition to national and state programs, there are thousands of nonprofit organizations fighting diabetes at the local level. Here is a list of nonprofit diabetes organizations found throughout the country.
State-based diabetes prevention and control programs. Funded and sponsored by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), each state has a diabetes prevention and control program. Find out what these programs offer in your state today.
