Diabetes - Oral doses of neem leaf extracts reduced insulin requirements by between 30% and 50% for nonkeytonic, insulin fast and insulin-sensitive diabetes. [This author doesn't know how to spell nonketotic, and invents a new term ("insulin fast").]

Dear Healing America: I have a friend and her son was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes when he was 3 years old. Now he is 12 I think and on daily insulin shots. I listen to the training call last night and I know that the Glucotor helps people with type 2 diabetes but could it help someone with type 1 also? At least to control his blood sugar so that he didn't have to be on insulin or at least cut back on his shots. So far we haven't attempted to try it on a Type1. The reason being the medical doctors on board say that it won't work for a type 1. The guarntee wouldn't apply to a Type 1. They need to go into it knowing it probably won't work BUT who knows.
