Expectations about Pumps
Realistic
- I will feel better on pump therapy
Unrealistic
- The insulin pump will cure my diabetes
- Many people feel better when they use a pump. However, a pump isn't a cure, and you still need to test your blood sugar and program the pump to deliver insulin when you want it to.
