Question
Yesterday, my doctor did a blood glucose test, and my level was high. So he put me on metformin. Some of my symptoms include the fact that I've been working out for long period of time and haven't lost any weight. I also have been getting headaches excessively. Will being on this medication help me lose weight the way I should and help to control my headaches?
Answers
It's possible the metformin will make it somewhat easier to lose weight.High blood sugar levels can often cause headaches. If your levels come down, it is possible that the headaches will be controlled as well.
