Question
Every morning, my fasting blood sugars are 130-160 mg/dL [7.2-8.9 mmol/L]. Should I be on a medication? Answer
You don't indicate whether or not you have already been diagnosed with diabetes. If you have not, I'd suggest you contact your physician for appropriate testing. If you have diabetes, you need to discuss your treatment treatment options with your physician (and preferably a diabetes team). These levels appear to be elevated and need to be controlled. ss
