Question

I did not realize it but I have taken two glyburide-metformin tablets instead of one as prescribed. I am trying to determine whether or not to seek medical help or ride this out. My doctor's office is closed. A little advice might help put things into perspective.

Answer

My advice is to check lots of blood sugars. There's a chance the increased dose might result in hypoglycemia, so be watchful for symptoms, and eat more if you have low blood glucose levels and symptoms.

Also, be sure your family is aware, so they can help in the unlikely event you have severe hypoglycemia.
