I am 21 years old, married, and I was just diagnosed with type 2 diabetes two months ago. I was on all these meds, but it got too expensive for me, and I have given up. I know my health should be the only thing that matters, but it takes a whole lot of money to be healthy. I have gotten upset that I came to the conclusion that this disease is too expensive for me. At the age of 21 you have your whole life ahead of you. It must seem like an overwhelming burden to face a chronic diseases such a young age of the consequences of untreated diabetes are enormous. There are many drug assistance programs available to help you.
