    • October 25, 2008    The American Diabetes Association and European Association for the Study of Diabetes updated their type 2 diabetes diabetes treatment guidelines.     • October 19, 2008    Contradicting current recommendations, a new trial finds that aspirin does not reduce the risk of heart attack and stroke for people with diabetes who had not yet suffered a heart attack or stroke.
