The Solo V2 from BioSense Medical Devices is a fully audible glucose meter that can produce test results in six seconds. Unlike other talking meters, the Solo V2 talks users through the entire testing process, from set up to test results, testing reminders to error messages. It requires a 0.7 microliter blood sample, does not require coding and offers 7-, 14-, 28-, 60- and 90-day averages. The Solo V2 is alternate site testing approved, has alarm reminders and allows for pre- and post-meal flagging.
