Low GI Eating Made Easy

Review by David Mendosa

Low GI Eating Made Easy

Low GI Eating Made Easy

I have read so many books on the glycemic index that I moaned when this one came in last week’s mail. I have more than 30 books about the glycemic index on my bookshelves, and I have read them all. What more, after all, is there to say about it?

It turns out that while there really is not that much new information in this book, it is organized just the way people are crying for it. People are always asking me for glycemic index information about common American foods — beyond those that I list at http://www.mendosa.com/common_foods.htm. Now, if you are one of those people, this is just what you have been asking for.

It you haven’t read anything about the glycemic index, this is a great way to start. Highly recommended.

Marlowe & Company in New York is publishing The New Glucose Revolution Low GI Eating Made Easy today. By Dr. Jennie Brand-Miller and Kaye Foster-Powell with Philippa Sandall, this 264-page trade paperback lists for $12.95. The ISBN is 1-56924-385-9.
