Question
From a physician:
I need to deliver public lectures to educate the general public on diabetes.
May I please request you to help by sending a PowerPoint® presentation for the purpose?
Answer
Sorry, but we do not have the time to produce PowerPoint presentations for our readers' use. I would think if you contact a local diabetes association, or medical school, they might be able to assist.
Or you could use Google's advanced features (at
http://www.google.com/advanced_search),
restrict File Format to Microsoft PowerPoint, and
search for "diabetes" and any other word of interest. You might find some presentations that are appropriate,
and that are available for reproduction. Many such documents are copyrighted, and you should request permission to use them from the owner.

The
National Diabetes Education Initiative
website
(ndei.org)
has several PowerPoint presentations.
Also the National Diabetes Education Program at
www.ndep.nih.gov
will have
information for presentations, but not in PowerPoint form.
