Question
I am a smoking cessation coach and I would appreciate very much if you could let me know where I can access information regarding diabetes and tobacco use.
I am aware that nicotine has an effect on
blood glucose
levels, but any additional information you feel could be of relevance to me, our clinic, and our doctor would be appreciated.
Answers

A search of PubMed
for "smoking cessation" should pull up literature of interest, but PubMed doesn't reliably search phrases, and displays 9764 articles. So instead, enter the following into Google:
[site:ncbi.nlm.nih.gov "smoking cessation" pubmed diabetes] to force a search for the information you want, and look through only 475 articles at PubMed.
