Question

I had a kidney transplant about six months ago, and the kidney is working fine. Is there any reason I can't take Byetta?

Answer

I don't know of any absolute contraindication related to transplants. Of course, you should check with your endocrinologist, nephrologist, and whoever is prescribing your transplant medications. (If they are unsure, your doctors could contact the Medical Information specialists at the manufacturer, and inquire if the company is aware of any information.)

If they are all comfortable, you might go for it.
